Founded in 1924 by Henri Virebent, the Virebent factory celebrates its 100th anniversary this year. Villa Brieg celebrates with two porcelain vases from this French manufacturer of exceptional craftsmanship.
Located in Puy L’Evêque, in the Lot region, the factory began by producing door knobs, stoppers and insulators.
It was in the 21st century that the company turned a corner, calling on ceramists and designers to create today’s iconic models with pure, elegant and contemporary lines.
In 2007, the company was awarded the Entreprise du Patrimoine Vivant (Living Heritage Company) label. This label is awarded to companies with a heritage of rare know-how and mastery of traditional techniques.
Virebent is one of the last porcelain workshops to manufacture entirely in France.
